Dr. Ronald V. Duncan is a published author, contributor to newsletters and magazines, and a motivational speaker. He’s the Executive Director of the Global Wesleyan Alliance, an alliance of thirteen denominations representing 12,562 churches in America, a role he’s held since 2014. He also founded PERFORM, a consulting firm focused on thinking significance and success.

 

Originally from Kingsport, Tennessee, Duncan graduated from Anderson University in Indiana. He then earned a Master of Divinity degree from Ashland Theological Seminary, as well as Master of Religious Education and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Christian Theological Seminary. He received the Doctor of Divinity from Anderson University in 2007.

 

Over the years, Duncan served in numerous pastoral staffs in Indiana, Ohio and Texas. He also held various state and national roles serving the church-at-large, including general director of Church of God Ministries from 2002 through 2013. His service extended into the US Armed Forces when he became a chaplain in the Indiana National Guard in 1981. Duncan served as division chaplain for the Seventy-fifth Division and the One Hundredth Division of the U.S. Army Reserve, before retiring in April 2006 at the rank of Colonel. During his time in the military, he earned numerous awards including two Legion of Merits.

 

He is married to Martha since March of 1966.  They have three children and nine grandchildren.  He has been a member of Rotary since 2002.
